Location and value for the money

Extensive water damage in the ceiling of the bathroom - no pot for the coffee and no remote for the TV. Although a remote was provided I really did not feel comfortable with the ceiling in the bathroom. I never stayed on the first floor so this was the first time and will never book first floor room again.

Breakfast with toast.

Clean place, convenient and handy location.

simple hotel with free wi-fi and very amiable and hard-working staff. comfortable bed in double room with a coffeemaker, a hair dryer, and an iron.

I liked nothing.

This establishment employs the very worst that Connecticut has to offer. Days Inn should pull their name and association off of this structure. As a result of the ignorance experienced here, Days Inn with never be an option for us in the future.

Room was very comfortable

They Double charged they charged 1 credit card upon booking then when I got up there and gave them another card they charged that one as well when i contacted them they said they had no records of it so now ive got to deal with the cc company

I liked that the property was close to Yale University.

The hotel was filthy. There was pubic hair left in the sink, tub and toilet. A big was crawling in my bed. Both smoking and non smoking rooms are two rooms apart and the entire hallway smells of cigarettes and marijuana. The air conditioning unit was not working. More importantly, the back door was ajar for the entire day, held open by a piece of wood.

The staff's warm hospitality was evident during check-in . The bed was comfortable, but the lingering cigarette smell in the hallway was disappointing.

I liked to sit in the lobby.

I truly enjoyed marvellous and excellent location of this hotel.

It was fairly clean, everyone was pleasant.

The hotel is in an awesome location, close to east rock park for fine views and near yale university where you can explore beautiful campuses and museums. While the staff worked hard to keep things tidy, the overall facility could use some updates and better maintenance.

house keeping staff very nice room was clean and comfy looking

The owner and his son. I am 74 and traveled with my son who has half a leg and cannot stand in a shower, bathtub was broken so he could not take a bath. The refused to fix the bathtub but later that evening the house staff and maint. man let us use another room just so he can take a bath. They did offer us a handicapped room but that porta shower was also in a tub. The owner stated no rooms could use the bathtub, that was a lie as we did use another room, when the owner found out he stated )his words) he just hired the maint man and he did not know what he was saying. He also stated he just hired the weekend desk clerk and he to did not know about changes in bathrooms. We traveled 9 hours to beat the storm in WV as my eldest son was having a quad bypass at Yale New haven Hospital. If we had been informed about the tub we would have booked elsewere. Don't stay at this hotel the owner and his son are rude and uncaring. Plus the fact they both lied as tubs in other rooms worked.

All was well except We had problems getting in Our room EVERYDAY ...

The bed linings had stains on them behind the bed there was trash I pulled the bed out to check for bugs. As time progressed I found the room to just be dirty asked for another they gave us another but called us and called me and my husband liars because they didn't see what we seen. The front desk kept calling us back calling us liars my husband got mad and talked to the guy then they had the cops called the cops reasoned with us and knew the guy was wrong for lying on us like he did. I will never pay money anywhere that I'm called a liar. He gave me my money back not all of it cause the guy was salty he thought he could talk to us any ole way and then when my husband went down he called the cops on us

Recommend it for couples seeking comfort

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet, crucial for getting a good night's sleep before a wedding.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but the experience was still acceptable.

The bed had hair in it from previous guests.i took pictures to show to the front desk clerk and was told there was nothing they could do .
